2. Aladdin did not get a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay Academy Award because Robin Williams improvised most of his lines. He was well known for ad libbing his parts.
3. Robin Williams dressed in scrubs and pretended to be a Russian proctologist, while visiting his long time friend, Christopher Reeve, in the hospital. Reeve laughed for the first time after his career ending accident.
4. When graduating from high school, Robin Williams was voted "the least likely to succeed. He proved them all wrong when, during his lifetime, he managed to receive 5 Grammys, 2 Emmys and one Academy Award.
5. His big break came when he got the part of Mork in Happy Days (1978). His character become so popular that they made a second TV show, called "Mork & Mindy". The producers hired him because during his audition, Robin Williams chose to sit on his head when asked to sit down. He was "the only alien to audition."
